POSITION SUMMARY The Paint Technician will complete warranty, rework, and spot repairs for damaged or imperfect trucks. They will inspect and fix every truck that goes through paint by either sanding, buffing, or painting. The Paint Technician will repair accidents or corrosion damages on trucks after distribution within warranty expiration. Also, they will mix paint for painters by using paint codes given to him by computer program.

- Completes warranty, rework, and spot repairs for damaged or imperfect trucks.

- Completes tasks in each position within the department.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA's): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience: - High school diploma/GED.
- Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
- Associate degree in autobody preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills: Language: - Able to follow written and verbal directions.
Math: - Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer: - Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
Abilities: - Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed.
- Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and precisely.
- Able to read and work from blueprints/spec book.
