Business Development Coach Job In Berkshire County Salary

$59k As the Business Development Coach, you will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of our Client by providing guidance and support to Black entrepreneurs and businesses within the Berkshire community. You will work closely with the Executive Director to implement strategies that promote economic development, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure that clients receive the resources and assistance they need to succeed. This role will involve in-person meetings, occasional travel beyond Berkshire County, and collaboration with seasonal interns.

Duties And Responsibilities

Technical Assistance

• Conduct intake assessments to identify clients' needs and opportunities for growth.
• Support business development through financial worksheets and narrative development plus locate resources and follow up with client needs.
• Provide ongoing support, including referrals to resources, workshops, funding opportunities, and professional development programs.
• Assist clients with registration and certification, Client's services, tools, and internal programs to help them achieve their business objectives.

Reporting And Documentation

• Prepare weekly and quarterly reports on client progress, challenges, and outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation of services provided.
• Track client progress through CRM tools and databases for documentation and ensure they're toward stated goals, milestones, and outcomes.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program effectiveness and impact.
• Work with the Executive Director and seasonal interns to compile data for grant reporting and organizational performance reviews.

Program Development And Implementation

• Design and implement programs, workshops, training sessions, and networking events- in collaboration with the Executive Director- that are tailored to the diverse needs of Black business owners across all stages of business development.
• Monitor program success and provide recommendations for improvements based on client feedback and performance outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement And Community Outreach

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local businesses, and other stakeholders to increase supplier diversity, facilitate procurement opportunities, and enhance the services offered to Organization clients.
• Represent Organization at local events, conferences, and meetings to raise awareness about the organization's programs and services.
• Actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with other organizations to expand the reach of Organization's services.

Team Collaboration And Development

• Work alongside the Executive Director and interns to ensure alignment and collaboration on all projects and programs.
• Mentor seasonal interns, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge in economic development.
• Inform the development of marketing materials, newsletters, and outreach content that promotes Organization's services and events.

Leadership And Professional Development

• Actively contribute to the growth and development of Organization's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Stay updated on best practices in economic development, entrepreneurship, and business support services.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance personal skills and contribute to Organization's mission.
