We are currently looking for a skilled  CNC Machine Operator for our premier client in Winona on 2nd shift!

Schedule : Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am (4-day work week!) 
Starting Pay : $25-$31 per hour, depending on qualifications

CNC Machine Operator Overview: Working full time you will setup and operate conventional, special purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.  The successful candidate must understand machine operation and capabilities of each of those machines. 

 
CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:  
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performing accurate inspections on product.
• Studies blueprints, drawings or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Calculates & sets controls to regulate machining factors or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media
• Starts & observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.
• Verifies conformance of finished work-piece using measuring and inspection tools.
• Sets up and operates machine to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and prioritization ability
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass the required pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior machining experience
• Possess a 2-year tool and die or machining degree
