JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Bolly cardio dance fitness instructor leads high-energy group classes combining Bollywood dance moves with cardiovascular exercise. The primary role is to provide a safe, effective, and fun workout experience that uses authentic and popular Bollywood music to motivate and engage participants. Key responsibilities Choreography and class planning: Develop and teach dance fitness routines that incorporate Bollywood styles while integrating standard aerobic and fitness techniques. Leading classes: Enthusiastically demonstrate and lead classes for diverse participants, including modifying moves for different fitness levels and abilities. Motivation and engagement: Create a positive, engaging, and welcoming environment to keep participants motivated and coming back to class. Safety and wellness: Explain and enforce safety rules, demonstrate proper form to prevent injuries, and provide general information on healthy living. Music management: Curate and mix music playlists featuring Bollywood and other global hits to keep the class fresh and energetic. Promotional activities: Assist in marketing and promoting classes to attract new participants and build a community. Administrative tasks: Handle class-related administration, such as tracking attendance and communicating with the fitness facility or clients. Qualifications and skills: Certifications: Professional certification from a recognized dance fitness brand like BollyX, Bolly Beats, or Zumba is required by most employers. General group fitness and CPR/AED certifications may also be preferred or required. Experience: Previous experience in teaching dance or group fitness classes is often preferred. Dance proficiency: Strong skills in Bollywood dance styles and the ability to adapt and choreograph dance routines for fitness purposes. Energy and stamina: High physical energy, stamina, and a dynamic, enthusiastic personality to energize a large group. Communication: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to provide clear instruction and interact effectively with participants. Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and provide good customer service. Working conditions Bolly cardio dance fitness instructors typically work in fitness studios, gyms, community centers, or remotely via online classes. The position may be part-time or freelance, with flexible hours that often include evenings and weekends.
