Overview

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Document Controller in the Houston TX area.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes, monitors and expedites internal and external distribution of engineering and supplier documentation.
• Validates document quality and is the final quality check before routing and transmitting.
• R ejects incoming documents from suppliers based on quality and requirement criteria.
• Collaborates with project teams to ensure project document control requirements are met.
• Functions as an integral member of the project team, alerting Project Manager to document issues which may impact project schedule.
• Applies knowledge of engineering, construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Documents information and project-specific processes using standard templates and maintains processes within Bluebeam Studio.
• Accountable for Project Document Quality for completeness, format, and compliance with contract and project requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with industry-standard document control applications such as MS SharePoint and Documentum; PDM/PLM and SAP are a plus.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, PLM, SAP and remote collaboration tools including WebEx, Skype or GoToMeeting is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering applications including AutoCAD, PDM, SolidWorks and Navisworks is a plus.
• Location: Houston, TX.
• Proven ability to manage document control processes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of controlled documents.
