Position Summary:

Terral RiverService, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our services setting. The Electrician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure electrical systems are safe, efficient, and up to code. The Electrician must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and is expected to prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of their work.

Essential Job Functions:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers and transformers, to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to complete projects within specified timelines.
• Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, outlets, and switches.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Skills and Expertise:

• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work.
• Valid electrician license issued by the relevant authorities.
