Entry-Level Accountant - Public Accounting

Job Overview:
The Entry-Level Accountant will support senior accountants in preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and assisting with audits and tax returns. This role provides mentorship, career growth opportunities, and exposure to a variety of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in tax return preparation and audits
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Assist in preparing journal entries and adjusting entries
Conduct financial data entry and reporting
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
Support senior accountants with client interactions and problem-solving
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
