As a Medical Assistant in the Interventional Radiology Clinic, you will perform essential medical and clerical duties to support patient care while adhering to established standards and practices. You will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team and demonstrate your ability to understand the growth and development needs of our patients.

• Assist in patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers based on your training and competencies.
• Document patient procedures accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
• Ensure a smooth patient flow through the clinic.
• Guide patients in preparing for tests and procedures, and deliver educational materials on health and wellness topics.
• Welcome patients and collect their medical history and vital signs.
• Handle laboratory specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and perform required cleaning and sterilization of medical equipment.
• Provide support for front desk operations when needed, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.

The ability to work designated hours and perform essential job functions effectively is required, including clear communication and hearing capabilities.

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Upon Hire or
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) Upon Hire or
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Upon Hire or
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) Upon Hire or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Upon Hire

• Associate's Degree or diploma in a Medical Assistant program
