Department: Leadership Location: Burbank, CA Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 / year Description Director of Information Technology Holding Hands, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and hands-on IT Director to lead our IT organization, ensuring robust technology infrastructure, security, and strategic execution to support rapid expansion through organic and M&A activities. The Director of Information Technology will play a critical role in establishing and leading the IT function within Holding Hands (HH), a pediatric therapy and adult services company that delivers Behavior Intervention, Social Therapy Skills, Floor time, Mental Health Services, Applied Behavior Analysis and Adaptive Skills services. The company operates in a large, fast-growing market segment with services that are in high demand. In addition, Holding Hands has formed a partnership with Varsity Healthcare Partners (VHP) and is positioned for accelerated growth and long-term expansion of its services. This individual will report to the Holding Hands CFO and be responsible for strategic planning, implementing infrastructure, overseeing cybersecurity, integrating new practices, coordinating with internal employees and vendors like managed service providers, project management, and developing the enterprise ecosystems needed as Holding Hands expands to new markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a "hands on" approach, capable of working closely with executive stakeholders and front-line staff to align IT initiatives with business goals. Regional travel to clinic locations is required. Key Responsibilities IT Strategy & Planning: In coordination with the Holding Hands and Varsity leadership teams, develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with business goals, collaborate with executive stakeholders on IT initiatives, and provide vision and leadership for IT development. Integration: Integrate new practices into the current IT infrastructure. Create & execute a plan delivering the necessary infrastructure, data, & insights, through good partnerships. Execution: Ability to manage multiple key initiatives and partner with Holding Hands and Varsity leaders to drive the organization’s technology action plan (roadmap). Infrastructure Management: Establish and maintain a robust IT infrastructure, oversee network, desktop, mobile and cloud solutions, and ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems inclusive of hardware, software, cloud, and telephony. Cybersecurity: Develop and implement a cybersecurity posture and framework, monitor and mitigate security risks, maintain security audits and participate in the Varsity security program. Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain IT policies and best practices, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve IT processes and systems. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the implementation and support of third-party solutions. Budget & Asset Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide financial reports to executive stakeholders. Benefits Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience as an IT Director or similar leadership role in a fast-growing company, with at least 10-years of professional IT experience. Healthcare industry experience; preferably within the provider, multi-site arena. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and influence strategy and decision-making. Excellence in translating strategy into scaled, transparent, action plans. Experience supporting M&A initiatives and integration. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and financial Excellent prioritization, delegation, and change management skills. Strong familiarity with healthcare provider application ecosystems (EMR, PM, etc.) and key data interoperability within those platforms. Experience with CentralReach EMR preferred. Capable of overseeing individuals tasked with data architecture, data engineering, and analytical reporting. Experience with Enterprise SQL and Power BI environment preferred. Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively with team members across a wide range of experience levels and backgrounds. Ability to innovate, create, and implement new ideas and processes with a high bias for action. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a collaborative, "hands on" approach.
