Darien Advisors is a tax and advisory practice focused on web3 and digital assets. Established in 2021, we specialize in cryptocurrency/digital asset tax reporting, compliance services, tax preparation, agency/notice resolution, advisory services, and treasury/financial reporting.Were not your traditional firmand this isnt your traditional 95. Position Details
Title: Junior Cryptocurrency Accountant
Pay: $50K$70K annual equivalent (flexible based on experience)
Location: Remote
Schedule:

• Short-term: Half-time or full time (20-40 hours/week)
• Long-term: Opportunity to grow into more advanced roles

Who You Are

• A junior-level accountant with 1-2 years of experience, ideally with exposure to crypto or tech-forward environments
• Familiar with or eager to learn CoinTracking.info or similar reconciliation tools
• Basic experience or coursework in preparing financial statements or reconciling accounts
• Detail-oriented and comfortable tackling complex or incomplete data sets with guidance
• Able to work independently while seeking support when needed
• Passionate and curious about the crypto space
• A clear communicator and team player
• Familiar with or willing to learn Google Workspace, Slack, and remote collaboration tools

What Youll Do

• Assist in reconciling cryptocurrency transactions using CoinTracking.info and other crypto-specific platforms
• Support in identifying and correcting misclassified or missing transactions with senior oversight
• Help review entries and ensure accuracy of transaction history
  
• Support crypto-related tax report generation under guidance
• Communicate findings clearly to internal team members
• Collaborate with senior accountants and firm leadership to learn best practices and deliver client work

• CoinTracking.info, Awaken.tax, CryptoTaxCalculator, Koinly, and/or others
• Slack
• Google Workspace
• Other crypto and finance tech stacks as needed
