Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively in a specified work area to complete OEM assemblies. You will read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and efficiently. This position requires precise measurement of parts using scales, micrometers, and calipers, along with utilizing overhead crane and rigging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components.
• Work independently and in teams to complete OEM assemblies.
• Read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and instructions.
• Accurately measure parts using scales, micrometers, and calipers.
• Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and assembling from both 2D and 3D prints.
• Possession of personal tools.
• Ability to work independently with limited training.
• Experience using rigging equipment.
• Skillful use of power tools, hand tools, and machine building.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
• Mathematical skills for performing metric system conversions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, and cut-off saw.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Vision Reimbursement: Effective 30 days from your first day of employment
Life and AD&D: Effective 30 days from your first day of employment
Personal Days: Effective immediately, you are eligible for three (3) personal days. Unused personal days can be
carried over year to year up to a maximum of 15 days. Any hours earned in excess of 15 days are
paid out annually.
Holidays: We provide ten (10) paid holidays per year.
401k Retirement Plan: You are eligible to participate in the 401k plan upon completion of 30
days of eligible service. We offer a traditional pre-tax 401k plan as well as a Roth 401k plan.
compensation under the Roth 401k plan.
401k Employer Match: If you make salary deferrals to the plan, the Company will make a safe
harbor matching contribution equal to 100% of the amount you contribute up to 4%.
