Job Description

NetSuite Systems Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 month contract + potential extension/conversion

Rate: $50-$60/hr

Job Overview: The NetSuite Systems Analyst will be responsible for assisting with analyzing, configuring, and maintaining the NetSuite ERP system for the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into NetSuite functionality. The analyst will support cross-functional teams, optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the effective use of the NetSuite platform across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure and customize NetSuite to meet business needs, including workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and user roles.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations or custom solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of new features, modules, and updates within NetSuite.

Business Process Analysis:

  • Collaborate with functional teams (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, etc.) to analyze and document business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in re-engineering business processes to optimize efficiency using NetSuite capabilities.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users experiencing system issues, identifying root causes, and providing solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between NetSuite and other business systems.

System Integration:

  • Support integration efforts between NetSuite and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.
  • Work with developers to design, test, and implement integrations using SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and other tools.

Reporting and Data Analysis:

  • Create and maintain custom reports, save searches, and dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Develop and automate reporting processes to provide timely, accurate business intelligence to management.

User Training and Documentation:

  • Develop training materials and provide training to end-users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Document system processes, configurations, and customizations to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

Upgrades and Testing:

  • Support NetSuite system upgrades, ensuring proper testing, validation, and rollout of new features.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate the impact of system updates on business operations.

Project Management Support:

  • Assist in project management activities, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables for NetSuite-related projects.
  • Participate in project teams for system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Systems Analyst or in a similar role supporting NetSuite ERP.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including Financials, Order Management, CRM, Commissions, and SuiteFlow.
  • Experience in business process analysis and ERP systems
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in NetSuite configuration, customization, and reporting tools (Saved Searches, SuiteFlow).
  • Strong understanding of ERP best practices and how they align with business processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite integrations and data migration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Certifications (Preferred): NetSuite Certified Administrator or NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant.
  • Certification in relevant fields (e.g., Project Management) is a plus.
