The Nursing Home Administrator leads the operational management of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. This role emphasizes visible, hands-on leadership to foster a person-directed community culture, promote inclusion, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. The administrator partners with internal teams to maintain occupancy, develop policies, and inspire a thriving environment aligned with the Eden Philosophy of Person-directed care.

Nursing Home Administrator — Clermont Park | Denver, CO

Pay range is $96,500 - $120,700 based on relevant experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Partnering with the Executive Director to oversee operations, ensuring excellence in service, quality of life, and regulatory compliance.
✔ Leading department directors, supervisors, and administrative staff with integrity, heart, and clear expectations.
✔ Collaborating with marketing and admissions teams to meet occupancy goals and adapt to changing marketplace conditions.
✔ Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, programs, and systems that promote outstanding care and efficient operations.
✔ Managing budgets (operating and capital) with sharp financial acumen.
✔ Building relationships with residents, families, volunteers, community groups, and partners — because connection is at the heart of what we do.
✔ Promoting transparency, unity, and exceptional customer service in everything you touch.
✔ Staying engaged — expect to be out in the community at least 50% of the time , building trust, inspiring your team, and ensuring residents feel seen and valued.

  • Have at least 2 years of successful leadership experience guiding a high-performing skilled nursing team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration or other related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in an Executive leadership position in a Senior Housing community required.
  • Knowledge of third party reimbursement systems preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in personnel management, relationship sales, strategic and operational planning required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English).
  • Proficient in the use of relevant technology applicable for the position.
  • Must possess either an unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the State of operation, and/or possess an unencumbered Assisted Living License in the State of operation
  • Proven experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, knowledge with HUD, and/or Entry Fee Community guidelines preferred, as applicable.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
  • Current Nursing Home Administrator License Required (NHA) 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Must possess a Colorado driver’s license in good standing. Job may require occasional travel in and outside the state. 
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Frequently interacts with relevant stakeholders including team members, applicants, hiring managers, developers, consultants, brokers.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.

Associate Executive Director (NHA) $108,600- $132,750 

Current Nursing Home Administer License Required (NHA)
