Overview:
A district in East Northport, Maine is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support its Middle School Day Treatment program . This part-time, on-site role involves direct collaboration with staff and students to provide behavioral supports for a diverse student population with varying needs, including life skills and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Develop and monitor Positive Behavioral Support Plans
Provide consultation to Middle School Day Treatment program providers
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
Support students with life skills and behavioral needs in an in-person setting
Caseload/Setting:
Middle school students in a specialized day treatment program
Diverse population with behavioral and life skill needs
On-site only (remote services are not effective for this population)
Qualifications:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
Maine CHRC (fingerprinting through Identigo) clearance (required)
Prior school-based experience preferred
Strong skills in collaboration, consultation, and plan development
