About the Role:

As a Part Time Server at Arbor Ridge at Brookmeade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests. Your primary focus will be to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service in a warm and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests' needs are met promptly and professionally. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a positive and memorable dining atmosphere that enhances the overall quality of life for those we serve.

The schedule is from 3 PM-7:30 PM (with rotating weekends), and it is located in Rhinebeck, NY. Pay rate: $15.50/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
• Basic math skills to handle transactions and process payments accurately.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations as needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for service periods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
