Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide essential healthcare support within a K-12 school environment. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to student well-being by delivering compassionate care and health assistance during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily health needs of students, including monitoring vital signs and supporting those with specific medical conditions
• Administer first aid and provide emergency care when required
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Support the health office by managing medical supplies and maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification with demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing practices
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• First aid and CPR certification is an asset
