We are working with a local and established Triad area organization seeking to hire and experienced Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their manufacturing team

This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week from home.

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic insight to support the organization’s growth and profitability. The role involves evaluating financial information and conducting strategic analyses to provide insight and interaction across all levels of the Company.

Job Duties:

• Manage the preparation and reporting of the annual budget, periodic financial forecasting, and long-range financial planning process.
• Oversee production of monthly reporting packages of actual results vs. targets.
• Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including detailed variance analysis and management reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making across the organization.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with company objectives.
• Support the proposal/quoting process, identifying financial data, key metrics and trends to provide recommendations on maximizing profitability.
• Mentor and develop FP&A team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Assist in ad-hoc reporting and financial performance analyses requested by management

Requirements:

• BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or with strong relevant experience. CPA or post graduate finance degree, a plus.
• Minimum five years general accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
• Proven ability to translate robust or complex data into simple, understandable information.
