Job Description
Established company that imports and distributes fine wine, water bottles, coffee and other Italian products seeks a dedicated, detailed oriented and willing to learn for position as Logistics manager Assistant.
Primary Responsibilities will include
· Process orders for US national customers and arrange outbound shipments in different States.
· Coordinates inbound shipments with freight forward and trucking companies
· Work closely with custom broker, maintaining and administering all incoming documentation to clear sea and air shipments
· Interact with distributors, vendors, suppliers and sales reps
· Perform daily communication with warehouse and office
· Inventory management as needed
· Excel data entry and clerical duties
· Ensure all Federal and State compliance are in order and updated such as cola submissions, state price postings and FDA registration
Other requirements for the position:
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Methodical
· Able to prioritize in a timely matter
· Punctual
· Diligent
· Organized and very detail oriented
· Knowledge of Italian language is a plus
· Computer literate (MS Excel, Paint or Photoshop, any experience with databases is preferred)
This is an entry-level position, but we are looking for motivated people who fit well and want to grow with the company. It will be an opportunity to learn, as you will be given responsibilities and tasks in all aspects of the business, especially shipping and logistics.
Job Type: Full-time Schedule. Monday to Friday
