Job Summary Job Description JOB SUMMARY The SAP FICO BSA is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business needs. This role acts as a bridge between finance teams and IT, ensuring that SAP solutions align with financial processes, compliance requirements, and strategic goals. The BSA plays a key role in system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing both functional expertise and project leadership. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications. Configure and support SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing) modules. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve reporting. Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents. Document business processes, system configurations, and training materials. Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, HR) for integrated solutions Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents. Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience Work Experience 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP FICO. Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementations. Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable. Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training. Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus. Proven ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting. Experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency environments with global finance teams. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering end-user training. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities SAP FICO certification is preferred Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations. Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable. Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training. Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus. The anticipated salary range for this position: $110,240.00 - $165,360.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
