Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tourism Director at the Sun Prairie Chamber. The Tourism Director provides financial oversite and is the face and driving promotional force. Develop and lead marketing initiatives that enhance Sun Prairie’s visibility as a destination. This includes managing a comprehensive tourism marketing plan, media relations, overseeing brand assets, promoting events that attract visitors, and supporting programs that generate overnight stays. The Tourism Director collaborates with local partners, media and social media influencers, manages grants, ensures efficient use of tourism room tax dollars and the Chamber’s tourism-focused budget items, including Sun Prairie Corn Fest marketing
Qualifications
Starting salary: $74,000
