Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a MD or compact RN license and at least two years of IR RN experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour day shifts between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
• Weekday call required approximately once a week from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Weekend call required approximately every 4-5 weekends from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday
• Interventional Radiology responsibilities include assisting with minimally invasive procedures and patient care before, during, and after interventions
• Schedule may include varied shift start times based on call rotation
• May come into contact with COVID-19 patients
• Training modules must be completed prior to starting and during orientation
• Candidates who were previously employed by the health system must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
• No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract is preferred, and none allowed during the first two weeks
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted

• Active MD or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent work experience as an IR RN required
• Two professional supervisor references from the past two years required
• Flu vaccination is required for employment
