\n\nJob Description\n

The NTICU unit specializes in providing intensive care for patients with trauma and surgical needs. Your role will involve working with advanced medical technology and a collaborative nursing staff.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care in the NTICU, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
\n
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions as needed.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
\n
• Perform critical procedures such as central line insertions and tracheostomies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a trauma or surgical ICU setting.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
\n
• Preferred: TNCC and ATCN certifications.
\n
