\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work flexible schedule with (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts available
\n• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center as needed
\n• Must work 2 weekend nights in a 6-week schedule
\n• Holiday requirement: Must work 1 Winter Holiday and 1 Summer Holiday (may be 8 or 12 hours)
\n• On-call requirement: 1 Winter and 1 Summer Holiday
\n• Weekend call requirement: 2 weekend nights in a 6-week schedule
\n• 3 years of OR experience required
\n• Level I Trauma, Liver and Kidney experience required
\n• BSN degree required
\n• Previous charge experience required
\n• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
\n• PA or compact state license required at time of submission
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
\n• Charting system: Cerner
\n• Patient ratio: 1:1
\n• Work with all surgical procedures and equipment
\n• Skills required: General OR, Trauma, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurology surgery, Transplant Surgery, Vascular Surgery
\n• Must complete 40 hours of orientation
\n• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
\n• PA fingerprints required
Facility:
\nThis major medical center operates a comprehensive surgical department with 14 operating rooms serving adult patients. The facility specializes in complex surgical procedures including trauma, cardiovascular, neurology, transplant, and vascular surgeries. The medical center maintains a daily census of approximately 30 patients and provides extensive interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
