Job Description
A reputable service and repair shop is seeking a dedicated yard worker who will also perform delivery driving duties. This role involves supporting the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, pumps, and vac-loaders, along with material deliveries and customer interactions in the Houston area.

Work Environment
Work in a small, non-climate-controlled shop and a larger, organized yard with spare parts and equipment. The team includes 3 mechanics, 4 warehouse/drivers, inside sales, and an operations manager. Work attire includes steel toes, jeans, and a work shirt. Day shifts run from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm but most of the time longer, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Employees participate in a rotation of being on call one week per month, requiring service truck trips to client sites for repairs. Typical work weeks average around 60 hours+.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pearland, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
