				  Job Description    The Coat Check Attendant is required to provide speedy and accurate service to our guests when handling their personal belongings in a fast paced pool/nightclub environment. The coat check attendant is friendly while dealing with guests, answers questions and tenders checks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in a high volume pool/night club atmosphere. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times. 
 ESSENTIAL    FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:    -  Hangs and organizes coats and other guest belongings within the designated order system  
-  Records and maintains guests checked-in belongings through a ticketing system  
-  Responsible for control of coat check tickets and proper care and custody of guest garments  
-  Returns personal belongings to guests in an orderly and efficient manner  
-  Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner  
-  Anticipate guest needs  
-  Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude  
-  Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing  
-  Process guest payment by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other appropriate tender types  
-  Obtain and return issued bank each day, count the bank and ensure it balances  
-  Stock coat check attendant station with proper supplies  
-  Keep area clean, organized, and free of debris throughout shift  
-  Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed  
-  Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards  
-  Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned 
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: -  High School Diploma Required or equivalent  
-  Liquor, Beer, Wine and Cigar Brand names  
-  Experience in hospitality working in a high volume restaurant, preferred but not required  
-  Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred  
- 21+ years of age

-  Must be able to push and lift up to 25 lbs.  
-  Small to Medium office environment  
-  Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working environment  
- 5-25% Local Travel (United States)  
-  Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume  
-  May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required  
-  Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards  
-  Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner  
-  Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality  
-  Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
