Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. As our first point of contact for patients, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call us on the phone. If you have exceptional communication skills and a passion for patient care, we'd love to have you join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all patients in a warm and professional manner.
Answer and manage incoming calls, scheduling appointments and responding to patient inquiries.
Manage the appointment book, handle cancellations, and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth flow of patients.
Verify patient insurance information and handle billing, payments, and financial arrangements.
Maintain accurate and organized patient files and records.
Confirm appointments and follow up on missed appointments.
Keep the reception area clean and organized.
Handle general administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence and managing office supplies.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a dental or medical office.
Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive and calm demeanor.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and office equipment.
Available to work 2 Saturdays a month is required!
