**Position Overview** We're seeking a skilled **Industrial Mechanic** to join our operations team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and components such as gearboxes and hydraulic equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, values safety, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Assemble and disassemble gearbox reducers, hydraulic cylinders, and other mechanical components to specification. + Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical systems for performance and reliability issues. + Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform timely, effective repairs. + Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment testing to reduce downtime. + Clean, lubricate, and replenish fluids or components as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. + Follow all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout and other regulatory procedures. + Perform additional mechanical or hydraulic repairs, including light painting or fabrication, as needed. **Tools & Equipment** Manual machinery, screwdrivers, hammers, power tools, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and other precision measuring instruments. **Work Environment** Industrial shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, lubricants, chemicals, and moving equipment.
