Job Title: Construction Safety Specialist

Location: Louisa, VA

Sector: Hyperscale Data Centers

Metric DCX Tare seeking a professional with experience in occupational health and safety, particularly in the construction industry, and will be responsible for conducting site inspections, monitoring safety compliance, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations and job safety analyses.
• Maintain and manage safety documentation, training records, incident reports, and compliance reporting.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and improving project-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide safety training, guidance, and incident investigation support to contractors, employees, and project teams.
• Act as a liaison for safety compliance with clients, contractors, government agencies, and third-party reviewers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction health and safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
• Preferred certifications include CSP, CHST, or other industry-recognized safety credentials.
