The Position : We're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant that desires to expand their tax knowledge and experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3 - 10 years of recent tax experience in a CPA firm
• CPA license required
• Experience preparing tax returns including individuals, trusts, partnerships and S corporations
• Highly motivated to learn and produce quality work
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with little direction
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with coworkers and clients
• Works effectively with team members
• Able to build strong client relationships by responding quickly and providing knowledgeable, concise communication to the client
• Experience providing mentorship to entry level staff
• Tax return review experience a plus

Responsibilities:

• Works with the tax team to prepare complex business and individual tax returns
• Performs the initial review of individual and business returns prepared by entry-level staff
• Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
• Handles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to obtain the information to prepare complete and accurate returns
• Alerts manager and partner of any tax compliance issues in timely manner
• Completes research and special projects as needed
• Stays informed of tax law changes and news
